Silence Is A Remedy

about

Second track off the EP 'Dawn Is Night'

lyrics

I will admit that I was wrong
I can’t conscript myself no more
This is the place where your senses fall
Etching for freedom or put on hold
You try not to confront all those fears
They don’t just evaporate or disappear
There’s no certainty from here
Looking for guidance it’s lacking from me

Hear me, my friend
This flood will not retreat
And I cannot depend
On this endless path
It keeps bending now
You just start again, you start again

Sometimes the wrong choices are right
Formulates perspectives for these new insights
I kept straying from the facts
I kept denying everything
I don’t think you have to conform
To any expectations not written in law
Just be who you need to be
Just don’t regret yourself at all

Hear me, my friend
This flood will not retreat
And I cannot depend
Take, my hand
Take me to that distant thought
And let us melt away

Fate is in the palm of your hands
Will you wash them now
Or
Make this your last defence
To change your world
Oh
